Sr Predator Flat 375 - 15 yrs and up  -  Weight 375 lbs    
Sr. Champ 15 yrs and up  -  Weight 425 lbs

**These Rules can be edited at any time**

Must be a Harbor Freight Predator 212 cc (model 60363 or 69730)
1.    The engine must be ran as a out of the box.
       
• NO PAINTED, HYDRO DIPPED OR WRAPPED ENGINE TINS ALLOWED
       • NO STICKERS ADDED TO MOTOR OR CHAIN GUARD

2.    Kart chassis can be ANY manufacturer or age.
3.    The Governor must be connected and operational.
       
• STOCK THROTTLE SPRING MUST BE USED. TECH WILL BE CHECKING TENSION ON SPRINGS
        • You may Disconnect the throttle stop screw 
4.    The air filter, and sock must be stock All holes to the airbox MUST be plugged.
5.    Stock Fuel tank cannot be removed from the engine.
NO RELOCATION OF FUEL TANK
        • Fuel cap may be drilled to prevent vapor lock. Multiple holes are allowed.
6.    Engine must pass governor test on the stand when asked at any time (5200 max)
       • If your engine fails this test you will be DQ’d. Arguing with the tech official of any kind
WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. IF YOU                  ENGAGE IN AN ARGUMENT YOU WILL BE DQ’d and possibly banned per the Board of Directors.  
7.    Engine must have key-way as installed by factory on the flywheel
8.    Stock OEM exhaust system as from the factory. 
       •No swapping of any parts along with no Drilling extra holes in the exhaust screen.

9.    Stock Flywheel only
10.  Factory stock Carb. 
       • Max Jet Size .31”
NO OTHER MODIFICATIONS!
11.  Low oil shut off must be disconnected
12.  You can only bolt on a chain guard.
NO AFTERMARKET ADD-ON
13.  No machining of any kind
14.  Any clutch 
15.  ANY tire
16.  Fuel: 87 Octane only-
NO ADDITIVES **MUST BE PURCHASED FROM GETTYSBURG SHEETZ**
17.  DYNO CAMS DUCAR ENGINES WILL NOT BE RAN IN THIS CLASS

18.  ABSOLUTELY NO MINI GEAR HUB SYSTEMS OR "SKIP TOOTH" SPROCKETS OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED

19.    The track has the option to claim any motor at anytime for any reason at the tracks discretion. Any refusal to turn over claimed motor will result in the following actions:
       • Immediate DQ from that days event
       • Banned from the class for the remainder of the season
       • Forfeiture of total points accumulated up until that event of DQ 
       • 140.00 Fine. Cannot race in the future until fine is PAID IN FULL. 
       • You may run “Box Stock Predator” as an alternative class.

20.    Anyone found illegal will from post race tech inspection will result in the following actions:
       • Immediate DQ from that days event
       • Banned from the class for the remainder of the season
       • Forfeiture of total points accumulated up until that event of DQ 
       • 140.00 Fine. Cannot race in the future until fine is PAID IN FULL. 
       • You may run “Box Stock Predator” as an alternative class.

CLAIMER RULE - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

• You must finish behind the competitor you are wanting to claim.
• You must race in this class to be able to claim another competitors engine.
• Claimer fee $140.00
• Clutch and Chain Guard must be removed when Claim is initiated.
• The Claim procedure will be the same as it is for a protest. Refer to track rules for “Protests”
• Track tech, President or Vice president must be present to oversee the Claim. NO EXCUSES!
• IF ANY CLAIM IS COMPLETED WITHOUT THE PROPER AUTHORITIES NOTIFIED AND YOU LEAVE THE PROPERTY YOU WILL BE DEEMED A DQ AND WILL BE BANNED FROM THE CLASS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON. THIS GOES FOR ALL PARTIES INVOLVED.

This Class was created for the low budget racer. With a lot of tampering with engines has been going on we felt it was in the racers best interest to start a class where everyone would be on an “LEVEL” playing ground and one competitor did not have to worry about someone “going farther” with engine tampering. 

If you are interested in running this class please make sure you let us know so we can sign you up. It is mandatory that HKC purchase the engines for you. This eliminates the racer from tampering before the seals goes on.  HKC would purchase a BRAND NEW STOCK ENGINE from HARBOR FREIGHT and have it sealed with steel cable seals with serial numbers attached. These Serial numbers would be input into a LOG BOOK with name, kart number and Seal serial numbers matched to the racers Engine.

Once the sealing process is complete we will schedule a date and for distribution of engines for the year. 

We will ask that you go through pre-tech inspection on a weekly basis to ensure serial numbers match and no tampering of any kind was tried, on any of the steel seals.  IF IT WAS DETERMINED THAT ANY SEAL WAS TAMPERED WITH, YOU WILL DQ’d AND THE ACTIONS ON THIS PAGE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.  You will be marked down as having a pre-race tech inspection in order to compete. If you not complete the pre-tech you will be asked to complete this task before you hit the track surface.

HKC will also have 5-6 Sealed stock predator engines at the track in case of engine failure.
